Loren O. White, 91 of Chenoa, died at 11:45 am, Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at his residence in rural Chenoa.
Funeral services for Mr. White will be 1:30 pm, Friday, August 6, 2021 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa; with Pastor Debbie Honegger officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Bloomington.
Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 pm, Friday, prior to his funeral also at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. Memorials may be directed to OSF Hospice or the charity of the donor’s choice.
Mr. White was born May 30, 1930, in Mackinaw; a son to Charles and Mabel (Miller) White. He married Justine Rosenberger on March 8, 1952 in Chenoa at the United Methodist Church. His wife, Justine survives in rural Chenoa. His parents, two brothers, Ray and Ivan White, and one sister, Blanch Oertle preceded him in death.
Other survivors include his children, Keith (Debbie) White of Washington; Kathy Diane Ray of Normal; one sister, Vivien White of Tremont; four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Loren was a 1947 graduate of Cooksville High School. He served our country in the US Army during the Korean War. He farmed in McLean County and was a member of the Carpenter’s union local #63 from 1976 until retirement in 1992. He enjoyed playing cards, dice and being surrounded by his family and close friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
