
Harvey Victor Stork, 91, of Chenoa, passed away at 2:00am, January 20, 2024, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
His funeral will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Christian Apostolic Church, Forrest. Ministers of the church will be officiating.
Burial will be in South Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be held from 4-8:00pm, Friday, January 26, 2024, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9-9:45am, Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to SELCAS.
Harvey was born September 5, 1932 in, Fairbury, the son of Henry and Ida (Hanni) Stork.
He married Alice Elizabeth Edelman on July 30, 1961. She died November 2, 2019.
Surviving are his children, Harvey Alan “Hal” Stork of Pontiac, Rita (Chris) Meiss of Fairbury, Rhonda (Patrick) Todd of Elgin, SC, and Harold “Shorty” (Rose) Stork of Chenoa; beloved Gramps to grandchildren, Corey (Amanda) Todd, Jacob Todd, Matthew (Elizabeth) Meiss, Alison (Kyle) Kaskavage, Jarrett Stork, Wesley Stork, Colton Stork and great-grandchildren, Isaiah Kaskavage, Alysiah Kaskavage, and Jade Meiss; siblings, Lena Jones of Forrest, Helen Voeste of Forrest, Wilma (David) Kieser of Bloomington, Wayne Stork of Fairbury, Henry (Susan) Stork of Forrest; sisters-in-law, Darlene Stork of Chatsworth and Gwen Stork of Fairbury.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Anna Stork; brothers, Donald, Richard, Edwin, Wilmer, Elmer and John; brothers-in-law, Fred Voeste and Gene Jones; and sisters-in-law, Eunice Stork, Judy Stork, Mary Stork and Susie Stork.
Harvey was a farmer in the Chenoa area as well as a local Auctioneer. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean conflict as a medic.
He was a member of the Christian Apostolic Church, Forrest.
