Pam was born on July 8th, 1955 in Fairbury, IL, the daughter of Edwin and Rebecca (Ramsey) Grider. She married Terry Birge on September 26, 1972 in Celina, TN. He preceded her in death on March 17, 2016.

Pam is survived by her children: Adam (Deb) Birge, of Chenoa; Terry Birge, of Weston; Tobi (Sierra) Birge, of Fairbury; Peter Birge, of Chatsworth; Brian Birge, of Chenoa; and Angie Berryhill, of Chenoa. She is also survived by her brother, Ed Grider, 26 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Preceding Pam in death are her parents, husband, and two sisters, Norma and Jane.

During Pam’s younger years, she really enjoyed singing with her family, she had a beautiful voice. She also carried a talent for playing the guitar and twirling a baton. She was the glue to the family, an amazing mother. She enjoyed any company from her kids or grandkids. Whether it was them coming over to talk for a while about Jesus, her younger years and family history, to put a puzzle together, go on a bike ride, or to just sit outside. Pam was a sweet, deeply loved woman by anyone who was blessed to have met her. Her beautiful soul will be missed.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to the staff at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center for their care of Pam.
